Tirane (Alpha Centauri) |
Latest news in from reports unconfirmed sightings of a large human
like beast covered in hair, living in the wild. New Chicago is a small timber products
town located in the rough foothills of the White Spine Mountains near the New Canberra and
Ameratsu borders. Like most of Tirania, New Chicago has experienced an economic downturn
in the past decade. However the town is going through a boom as American, Australian and
Japanese tourist flock to experience the first bigfoot sightings reported off
earth.
Local Peace Commissioner Peter Roget has dismissed claims that the sightings are a mere
hoax, I saw the creature with my own eyes. I swear it was real... real ugly too and
what a stench. Apparently the creature resembles the typical bigfoot
appearance of being over two meters tall and covered in hair. Like most
bigfoots reported it is extremely elusive.
Psychologists and Anthropologist have dismissed the sightings, pointing to the lack of any
physically comparable species native to Tirane and 350 years of psychological evidence of
cryptozoology witnesses on Earth... (Worlds News Weekly)

Montana (Omnicron 2 Eridan) |
Tempers flared again this week in the Omicron 2 Eridani System as a
Brazilian freighter inbound to the Montana Refueling Station was first warned then forced
off of it's flight path by several Argentinean Warships. The official Argentinean response
to this was the flight path intersected Restricted Space in orbit over
the INAP installation drilling the so called ""Super Deep Core, Drilling
Installation"". What is known is that several shots were fired and at
the time of this release the Brazilian Ambassador has been removed from Buenos Aires
again. Unofficially we have determined that several Brazilian Ships have been
dispatched to the Latin Finger several months early. Their crews in all probability
annoyed at having their 2 month rest and refit cut short...
